No rack, this little home console includes:
-8 Between lines. The entres5 / 6 7 / 8 are Stereo or mono have only between pairs (left).
-4 Inserts (about 4 slices Premire) pre-fader pre-EQ
-2 Shipments to mono and 2 Stereo Returns. You can choose a button to send to a 2 to a knob: useful when one is in effect (eg reverb) that you want to be assayed in a scene such return (the to 2).
-5 Pramplis microphones with phantom power supply gnrale for the first five installments.
- A tape in and tape out in Stros cinch. The tape in ("2-track in") does not knob: it is all or nothing to the mix by a switch.
For Units 1, 8-way fixed three-band EQ preceded by a 75 Hz low cut.
-Output: XLR or jack + output control room which RULES level with that of the headphones and in which one can decide to send two tracks in a switch or not.
The 12-segment bargraph consists of diodes.

UTILIZATION

The Schematic of the classic console is so easy to trs Accs. The manual is correct.
The levels of the slices can be adjusted by knob: economy of price and place. The place is a bit tight for my fingers standard: I make a round knob, releasing the middle of the race and taking over except for the Level knob (which are palace at the end of console).
But what makes the good quality of this console is the transparency of pramplis (yes, really!) For this price (around 170 euros) and the fact that I can slip it into my game bag

SOUNDS

I love pramplis and the ratio s / sound and the EQ is effective trs: you can really have fun with sound.

OVERALL OPINION

I used last year and I love it because I play the viola and more
I tried the samson equivalent and I made after a quarter of an hour: a scandal staining vulguaire ...
The ratio Q / P is excellent and I buy it back 50 euros more hassle free.

Table rack with two brackets supplied, but I did not choose this solution. It is small but very complete. 8 stereo inputs, two dedicated XLR microphone + 1.

A / return by mono and two auxiliary I / O stereo, one of which I use to process the signal to an effects processor TC Electronic.

Analog, void and without automation, it is basic but high quality.

Supply house, and that's significant.

UTILIZATION

Who knows absolutely nothing to the functioning and bowel mixers and has never touched, will require that manufacturers decide to understand that everything does not flow naturally. From this point of view, the extension is not very Alto (I mean the use, because branching issue, everything is explained), though, once we better understood, c is clearer.

Question use if the buttons are quite close, there is little to turn them throughout their rotation because the effects of layering are significant. As part of HS for use in instruments that are always connected permanently settled in much the same way, it's perfect.

Question transparency, it arises there! Quality preamps too, it's a great quality / price ratio.

Except the damn line in EQ and blind to the breath is all that is discreet.

The EQ, however, are damn effective. There is no one degree of rotation buttons that did not help.

OVERALL OPINION

20/08/11:
More than three years of use without any regret. It was my first and my only mistake was to tell me that would be enough for all 8 inputs of my life in a home studio musician. Big mistake! We always add a little, and one day you find yourself playing with the connections / disconnections, in short, exactly what I wanted to avoid.

Alto is the super analogue table, evidence. I then eyeing the same in 16 ways, and there I think I made the rounds.

The price is dwarfed by the services rendered, and it is an investment in the first fill.

10/10, it's worth!

Caractérisitiques see below. I add just that rack brackets are supplied with the consoles.
The EQ is good, your sound is not too impaired. 5 XLR inputs and two TRS jacks.

UTILIZATION

Really very simple to use, not necessarily need to look at the doc.
Setting up very easy. We leave the console, one connects the inputs and 2 minutes after it turns.

SOUNDS

The console is really transparent to its price, I was really amazed.
Well, like any console to price, if you push a bottom was the blast. For normal use in a home studio means no noise.

OVERALL OPINION

We must put things in their place. I put 10 on the basis of price / quality ratio.
For a small home studio, she is more than enough. No noise, its very clear is well above a Beringher and not necessarily more expensive. Buy at StarMusic to 95 euros ..... what more
