UTILIZATION

Clear routing, connectivity much more abundant on some models, however, much more expensive, it's a console that is beginning to impose. Its separate power supply and weight inspire confidence ...
100 mm faders glide well and are accurate. Manual in English, but not off-color, with handy synopsis.

SOUNDS

The preamps are pumped back to those of a certain very famous Mackie at the time, good dynamics and clarity are great to visit. You really have to push very hard to recover breath. The équalo unfortunately without setting Q is a shame because it would have been perfect ...

Otherwise, this console sounds "neutral", it makes no specific staining, and personal, I like.

Certainly there are better, but we'll have to break the piggy bank ...

OVERALL OPINION

I've been a ... since then? Long, for sure. Pumped back to the Mackie, the MX-8000 found in undeniable qualities and his abundant connections can do just about anything you want. Following a trial against so-cons lost Mackie, Behringer MX-8000A emerged a lot worse then the 9000 ...

Assets:
- Connectors for this staggering price range.
- Matos strong.
- Good preamps and équalos.
- Section mixing comprehensive and well laid out, with many possible assignments.
- Aesthetically pleasing, it is important when you bump it 12 hours a day ...

Cons:
- The Q on équalos missing.
- No phase inverters.
- The assignment of the phantom in groups of 8.
- The connection is fabulous, but once the banner bargraphs laid, access to the connector and switch Mic / Line becomes impractical.

Well, at risk of being down in flames by all critics of the brand (and there are many), I am sorry to say that Behringer has not come out as dung, and this console is an illustration . I bought it at the time being not sure of the keep. Well it is clear that it is still there, the matron, and I never had any technical problem. Certainly qu'électronicien time, I've made some changes nice, but it's a good carcass. Currently, it is coupled to a Tascam TMD 1000 Fly-in a big box, and all groups are managed by TDG Digital 1000. Well it makes quite a gas plant, worthy of some bikes a lot, but really much more expensive.

I regularly handles large consoles with names that make you dream. I also have a D & R. We certainly can not compare, but still: ergonomics, simplicity and sound quality that are fun for everyday use, and endurance is at the appointment. What more to this price?

Especially as the market opportunity, we can reach in good condition at ridiculous prices. But be careful, eh, take an MX-8000, not the MX-8000A is not at all the same ...

The value for money: breathtaking. I would do if this choice? Mmmmmmh, why not?
