Ben good for caractrisiques, I do not see what else to what is already on the site behringer: 8 mono channels, 4 channels stro, 2 loops effects, equalizers rather complete, a VU meter, etc ... No digital effects and no groups.

    USE

Usage is classic. The manual is very succinct.

    SONORITS

The sound is not great. Many of breath in pramplis when the gain is slightly pushed. EQ are quite effective. With an external prampli, the whole is neutral, and it's already not bad.

    NOTICE GLOBAL

I use it for 2 years when radaction agree. It does its job by those famous pramplis, and that's the problem: today, I do not think buying a new console Behringer because of a ...

    UTILIZATION

Simple once freelance operation of an analog console.

    SOUNDS

I'm just prmix of the synth (for now) so trs pure sound sources, based on synths samples is limited but ds that connects a synthesis of analog FM or the level of breath following the envelope of its rotting and makes it unusable. Tip: Avoid these types of low cost brand (Beringher, Phonic, zoom etc). I bought a Phonic proc effect and it's really a shame to sell a 1000 bullets. Crappy quality and in-refourguer and more! Only the top price. Next time, Yamaha + lexicon

Obviously, Behringer specifications were correct at least in this aspect. The results were much better than on separate Focusrite preamps (OctaMic) and Presonus (Digimax)! For those who like figures: My MX 2004A reached -129 dB (A) of noise relative to the input equivalent input noise = EIN.
The breath of the preamps MX2004 is much lower than the background noise of the best professional microphones like Neumann TLM 103, Gefell M930 and Sennheiser MKH80!
Of course, ACEC input "open" (infinite input impedance) the wind increases, but we judge with an impedance 150 Ohm eg realistic, because it is the output impedance of a typical professional microphone.
So I wonder if others have heard the soffle microphones connected to the MX2004, or really the breath of the MX 2004 preamp?

    OVERALL OPINION

I use it 3 years now.
What bothers me are the knobs to adjust the input sensitivity that is not reliable.
Unfortunately, the Mackie has the same weakness 1402VLZ ...
Hopefully the new Mackie Onyx series will correct this!

In general, it seems that Behringer products sometimes suffer from negative stereotypes ... (Favored by vendors for commercial reasons?).
It was one of the reasons I really enjoy the exchange of experiences on Audiofanzine.

The console is Rackable, it's better.
For a small home studio is perfect because the number of entries is sufficient, which can test a lot of connections.

    OVERALL OPINION

I bought this table in late 1999, exactly 1,850 francs of the era in a store brand distributor of Plan de Campagne, in the Bouches du Rhne.Je did not have much money, I certainly did not want the console with built-in effects, because prices like this, the effects are Ben .... ..... By the way, what effect? So I am back at home with this thing of evil, which it is true that THE FIRST costs, it said: It sounds squeaking, trs (too!) Mdium, This silent color that marked the era. I made a little by adding Autocom Pro era of the vocal microphone recording studio, then ULTRAFEX Pro EX 3200, then more rcemment (3 years ago) the Ultra Voice Digital (bomb!) and Ultragraph pro in equalizer, and two years ago the Tube Ultragain lamps and T 1953 Tube Ultra-Q as lamps burning before the final. I wanted a year ago to change the table, I tried the new Xenyx always in the same brand, but if they are remarkable for the price, live (best in low, it is closer Mackie of color, without reaching however) they will not at all in the studio. So I kept my MX 2004A, which is more "sche" in its construction, which makes me use for the bass drum and toms in gnral. I added the Lexicon LXP-15 (the Rolls of the reverb!), The Alesis Midiverb 4, Digitech Studio S-120, and before the music! Premire C'tait my mixer, I will change srement one day, but for now, I keep some time with her. For what I do daily, it is largely damped dj. The report quality price Behringer in gnral is the best on the market. Exprience with, yes, I do it again the same choice ...

Have been using Behringer products for the past few years.Reason is becoz they're the cheapest in the market. You pay monkey & get monkeys!!

    Price paid: $95 USD

    UTILIZATION

    A very straight forward mixer.

    SOUNDS

Buzzing here & there.Have to wait for the buzzing sounds to dissapear before i hit the record button. But sometimes the buzzing return while recording!! Godamnit!!

    OVERALL OPINION

Should be ok for gigs.A definaite No No for recording.Everything sounds dirty with less head room after running through a signal into it.

Use to love them coz of their classy design & pricing but not anymore.I am progressing!!
