4 monos, Friedberger 4, 3, 1 to stereo, insert on each direct out per slice, talkback etc ...
no automation.

SONORITS

Transparent yes, very difficult to saturate.
Great equalizer!
Sound without concssions!
Comprsseurs (ssl like) super powerful!
No breath all ...................... CALREC!

NOTICE GLOBAL

bought too chre in these thief and Asnire professional liars sur seine.
yes I have tried (or rather heard) a lot of big pro tables in the past.
The particular feature I like most: SOUND! I do not see a style of music that does not accord with this console, it still must love analog.
the peculiarity that I like least: the color, everything is tiny on the console (the price of compactness)

Rackable likely, given the format, but I'm not formal.

A small console that has everything a great especially sound, EQ and compression on the main bus (10 out of 10 only for the presence of dynamic integrated treatment).

UTILIZATION

- Very easy to use
- All the features by eye
- I used it without worry and without manual so ...

SOUNDS

- The console can be seen as transparent but it pushes the amp sound more turns and that, without distortion.
- No breath
- The EQ is effective (in my opinion), it must be entrendre to form his own opinion.

OVERALL OPINION

- 2 years

- The +: the sound of the preamp, EQ and compressor quality
- The -: I wish more bands but I prefer the 8 slices 48 slices Calrec as in other brands that do not care about people.

- I tried different makes and models of consoles (BC2 Amek / TAC Bullet / TAC Matchless / TAC Scorpion / Mackie 1604/1202/32: 8/LM3204 and D8B / TL Audio M3 and M4 8:2 16 / Lafont Producer) and I would say trying to be as objective as possible Calrec that sounds much better than the Mackie, and TL Audio.

Having worked on and Amek TAC consoles are very good (except the scorpion), I would say the Calrec range is equivalent to Amek BC2 with more to BC2 for the number of votes and a little more for Calrec for the presence of compressor.

- Value for money right in view of the cost of a preamp / Eq / Comp mono quality

- I would do this choice eyes closed, ears open, however if I find a 16 or 24 channels at a fair price, I buy direct.Les rare 16 or 24 channels that I saw were at Funky Junk and expensive (8500 € for a 16-channel model).
