-40 In (4 in stereo XLR or RCA Jack!), 8 VCA, 8 groups with compression (yes yes yes!), 4 departures matrix, 8 with switchable pre / post by 2 (less that) - The 4 first on knob standard, the last 4 on potentimètres concentric (which was not done).
- Balanced Jack insert 6.35.
- Increments: insert deactivated, low cut adjustable + 4 bands parametric corrections, pad, phase reverse, 48V power supply can be switched off in installments.
- 4-band parametric correction to the master stereo and mono bus.
- Connection of solid appearance.
- 2 external power supply (one redundant).

UTILIZATION

- Assignment of VCA simplissime ... to the left is an analog console like the others (except the compressor on the group can be, but it does not affect the usability of the console).
- Everything is clear and accessible once you got used to fetch them to the top of the range, above the spell and the activation of the insert in concealer, above the fader ... it takes some getting used to the top ...
- No idea of the manual, I did not open.

SOUNDS

skeptical at first ... it's true that it's always scary when these consoles we sell anything and everything built inside (including the 8 compressors on groups) ... and finally ...
This is great! it works well this console! The preamps are good, the correction just excellent! The cuts on the groups are very correct and it really helps out! ... stupid stuff but practices such as parametric cells on the master are significant when we're working on small systems with processors diffusion "light".
it does not blow ...
... In short, it's very good stuff and is well thought ... for me it falls within the range of quality that I could cross at Midas (Legend, see the small Heritage) or Soundcraft (Series 3).

OVERALL OPINION

used 2 times on plans to tear it off for a show band, with such a patch in 32 of Mixed Economy front and back, on planes in "console is changed because ours broke down." ..
Not many surprises in the line check, it sounds good in two shots ladle ... it is a pleasure to work on that.
... each time I want to balance our A & H GL4000 in the trash to redeem the crest of our service! ^ ^
