I just bought it, but I already have a Mackie 402 VLZ3 and a CFX20 MKII. I sail on familiar ground ...

For the intended use (mini trio sound and mixer stage), there is nothing better for me at the moment. I can plug my 2 strings high impedance sensors, micro voice more and if necessary, 2 HF on line inputs! And use premix stage to get a pair of XLR cables, direct, no need to even DI!

Note that it fits perfectly in a suitcase of 390x230x75 mm (size 2 to 3 promo toolkits pull 'Bricorama') to power.

I served in a home studio config, couples with a delta audiophile.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought this as trsrcemment MODEL sr-seen notices about the previous ones VLZ3 MODELS (except may be one of the 1604 VLZ3 PeterCocteau) - not be able to make a bad choice in taking this console.
I was looking for a particular console with super pramplis on mono channels for direct pramplification guitars.
The aim is also to have a silent hiss level largely infrieur that produced my little console Phonic.
And the sad surprise: MODEL I is able to hear the sound of the sea and that of a tropical rain if you push the knobs a bit ... at the same level as the little Phonic. Except that the price is not the same level it.

I do not know if it's because the console is not / no longer manufactured or if the US's history from the ban on lead-containing solder (RoHS), which possible problem a lot of producers of audio hardware, but not the expectations we have towards the brand.

UTILIZATION

Configuration simple and clear is a mixer with nothing more and nothing less.

I use it for a month and it's a real treat, I used exactly like the configuration proposed on page 7 of the manual. I just mutate easily, which go to the speaker and what is going to sound card, I control the volume of my speakers from the table and the volume in my headphones independently. For me it's the top to save easily.

I had a behringer mixer and Phonics (for the home studio too), I prefer (by far) it is simpler and much better quality.

the price is a little bit high for my taste (though I got it for 189 € Newfoundland so I do not open).
