Published on 03/28/12 at 08:373U rack-mount machine very complete. 8 slices each with: a microphone preamp, line input, a 48V switchable insert (send / return), a send / return magneto. Besides being a handy rack of 8 preamps, one has to the ProTracker, a summing stereo (with a pan, a volume fader and solo button for each). There is a stereo track, which can be used to effect return, Magneto is back. More outputs to the stereo bus (hand and monitoring), a headphone jack .... And a limiter that can be activated per well.
UTILIZATION
Easy to use, however, the possibilities of the machine is very large, it's worth it to bone up a bit before the doc ... There are tons of options very well seen, this is a real Swiss Army knife ...
SOUNDS
Very slight hiss when you push the preamp, not awkward at all. The preamps are very good and the overall sound is very nice. I have used it with lots of different mics and I've never had to complain.
OVERALL OPINION
I use this machine mobile recording for 3 years. This is the ideal compromise between a rack preamp without any possibility of routing and a console that is not always very convenient to carry. The possibilities of connection and routing are very comprehensive and valuable. We feel that the machine was designed for professional use.
