Value For Money :
Excellent
Small mixer equipped with:
- 2-track mono XLR / Jack (1 and 2) (Alim 48V phantom)
- 2 slices stereo jack (3 / 4 and 5 / 6)
- An auxiliary bus departure mono, stereo return
- 2 outputs: Monitor (Control Room) and Main.
- Input / Output tape
- For each: Equalizer High / Med / Bass, pan, level auxiliary level, led to peak
- VU meter.
- Super small size and weight and convenient for home and put in his bag.
- Though sturdy metal chassis,
- All the knobs have a center detent.
- No on / off button, must unplug the transformer (no worse for the environment!)
Take a look at the site of Tapco for details.
All the basic features for my use: PC router, bass preamp and scratches.
UTILIZATION
It could not be easier!
Despite its small size (huge advantage in my opinion), all knobs are available, the connection makes sense ... nothing wrong
The English manual (downloadable in French on the website of Tapco) could not be clearer; patterns config a valuable complement.
I find, with regard to my use, super convenient to use: small, light, robust, well-organized ... I appreciate the bcp center detent on the knobs.
The point is missing: a monitor for each track ... but hey at this price you can not have everything!
SOUNDS
This table is perhaps not as clear as spring water, it produces very little breath, at least for my home use (not yet tested sound at high volume).
Only the preamp mono tracks begin to blow from the half of the race of winning.
The EQs are surprisingly effective. I do not use bcp, preferring to deal with the source.
Note, the Series Mix, it is the only one to complete the EQs on stereo tracks. Convenient to use as a DJ mixer in the evening.
OVERALL OPINION
It is on my desk for 1 month and I am fully satisfied.
My criteria was before the purchase: the size, price and good quality / price ratio.
I guess there is more but less than € 60, I have my little router that sounds good and keeps me to redo my connections.
In addition I find it rather stylish! So again this choice (with the same budget): YES!
