UTILIZATION
This console is gnial I use it for 12 years. I made the PA (live shows) and Studio 24 as it exits directly.
Trs solid it never fails and never shows signs of fatigue. Trs simply used it all the necessary hand.
For 12 years no knob from cracking. It's solid!
SOUNDS
Ct's nothing to say it sounds good, ct galo over a parameter t have perfect especially for mdium, to see one. more for items as returns.
The pre-amp is not bad, although the suprieur Behringer, because I took the test. I also had the opportunity (which is rare!) To compare a TAC BLUE (one person wanted me to sell it), or the well must be added the gain on the Blue Tac, no need to my MX400-24 and I think the sound is clearer. The cost of the guy who wanted to sell did not know what to say.
OVERALL OPINION
With exprience, YES I do it again the same choice without hsitez! This is a Super Consolle!
Today the face of console Numrique increasingly sophisticated, the fate MX400/24 is someone who would make a good mix without taking the head as it is provided.
It's a shame that Yamaha is not an evolution out as a MX800 with 8 subgroups, 8 aux., 4 tapes galo ...
I await the day we will offer manufacturers an analog console (a reasonable price) with gate and compressor on each slice, a gnial'm especially a great alternative to console numrique.
