Well, ditto GF16/12 but 8 mic inputs instead of 12

UTILIZATION

It is a very simple to use console. The Overview of the console is very clear and intuitive. The manual is well done but not very useful.

SOUNDS

It is that opinions can differ ...

For my use (classical music recording), it is very good transparency, low blows, EQ Discrete ...

I do not use EQ for correcting slightly the curve of microphones to eliminate the hump in the treble (that's what this mode is for microphones?)

For the "pop music", it sounds perhaps a little cold, and if you push the levels too high, distortion is not very musical.

For the diffusion-type "confrence" it is very good too.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this console happily for 3 years with a Fostex hard disk recorder.
I enjoy the transparency that captures well the tone of the instrument or voice. For classical, it is absolutely critical. For other styles, it can be a inconvnient.

The report is very good for qualitprix who search for quality Plutt a record number of votes cheap (if not take a Brangre Snif X24).

Now I would take a console with more inputs and direct outs, but I do not know which of my requirements for quality and transparency.
