This is surely a handicap which will require the selection of the expander number of users,
for me too I mainly use the knobs (good quality and to modulate the keyboard to the dclencher vnements.

UTILIZATION

Installing the software is simple and hassle free on my PC (Pentium 200 - 64MB)

OVERALL OPINION

It's simple, it is the heart of my System. This machine is simply ds dmoniaque it's not to like everyone else: This is Intrets of modular, since it can easily s'chapper trs known structures (filter-amplifier oscilloscope's + ca & lfo's) But this makes it challenging trs. It takes a lot of work and express rflexion for her what you want. This Representative for me Intrets major modular which can be viewed as a standalone machine (+ effects & mixer). It is prprogramme with the computer home and it takes a minimum scne. Whereas therefore outside the purely aural (sound of the machine can not appeal) is an excellent machine make sounds, as long as we want to bother.

Calvia The Nord Modular is a modular synth on the same principle as the old patch analog synth o is plugged full of self-same cables between the oscillators, effects, LFO, VCA ...
Here is the same principle except that the patches are done on computer and take care on the South by Syth.
It possde 2 octaves (MODEL synth), and 18 potentiomtres rotating super quality. There is no pitch wheel and modulation (dommage. ..) but just a push button to move up and down the octaves.
It possde2 audio inputs (line level), which is handy because it allows the use of effects real time. It possde 4 outputs, one connected to a sustain pedals (all this basically jack). It also has an in / out and midi in / out to the computer for shipping (no thru ...).
It runs on 4 Intgr DSP processor (to the DDIS)
Polyphony is limited by the power of DSP based on the used patch. Plus it is more complicated polyphony will be restricted.

UTILIZATION

Edition of the software is relatively easy to use but all the same quite complete. One would expect this software amliorations from Calvia, but since the release of G2, they gave up.
It can work trs prcis sound and can fully Defines the architecture of the synth. The modules provided range from simple oscillator bank sinus through the parliaments of all simple logic (comparator threshold ...). It is much less sr dvelopp that software such as Max MSP but hey, we can not have everything ...

The sound of this synth are just great.
The bass is not punchy trs but they are nice and warm. The highs are an incredible precision. This synth does not really sound the call practitioner. It offers several tt ^ a search on the Contents is sound and is the height in terms of quality and precision.
