For a month I use, little time to adapt concerning the Registration, pingpong mode, connections etc..
Analog multi, you can record two tracks simultaneously (or 4 beats but spread over two tracks A and B for example). Support k7 therefore, are still found on ebay or boncoincoin (but more expensive).
Jack 4 inputs, 2 XLR inputs on the first 2.
High and low EQ for each input / track, Panoramic.
Auxiliary send / return can also be measured independently.
Vu meter, for the mixer (ie the incoming sound to avoid saturation), the evening listening k7 (different tracks).
There's also a mode Pingpong (which generates breath if the recording is not nickel) and punch in (not yet tested).
The clock is small (with reset eh).
Connection noon (no I have not tried the stuff for).
Finally, the pitch (not the Pasquier) knowing that recording "fast" the sound is better but less recording duration.
So no I'm not opposed to digital, but my laptop is walking around the house while I cut reinstall the desire to save on the fly.
While there, I connect, I press rec (after the menu settings including selecting the track and adjust the pan, R for tracks 2 and 4, and L for tracks 1 and 3 in particular).
There's a noise reduction (for headphones or when transferred to pc) I recorded raw scans and I only have the result on PC (if I touch deci beyond, but it is on the master).
It is the spirit and record plug (so to speak) that interests me above all. Also, it calls into question the whole recording technique, the approach is different and is much more active and involved in the chain of creation of a song.
This is more direct, there's more stress and I I like it.
