This friendly Italian analogue rack is quite unusual: difficult to program, it will sound trs hot, powerful bass sounds live quite heavy. MIDI connectivity is minimal (no way of CONTRL by sysex filters, for example), the backup sounds can be made by sysex and is therefore external tape. There are 75 sounds in RAM, 25 + stacks of sounds (for split or layer). Polyphony is 6 voices, there is only one Stereo output pair.

UTILIZATION

This stuff is horrible programming: you have to like to spend an evening tapping away on tiny buttons clanking of the thing to realize how the music takes patience. But is your exact height of what you expect: sounds analog, warm, moving, heavy ...

SOUNDS

Trs, trs good sounds a little atypical, live, not always easy to place in a mix though. There are no effects in the Crumar Bit 01. To create a sound there's a good forty paramtres adjustable individually. Each sound is composed of up to 6 waveforms (sin, saw, square) superimposed, which can DCID octave.
