Value For Money :
Poor
Rackable Analog Expander (rack bars are delivered with)
250 Preset Single / Multi 250 Preset / O effects / BIG SOUNDS ANALOG
all presets are editable and erasable so / No dialogue to a computer can (fortunately here it works analog)
Extension of PCMCIA card
OUT THROUGH MIDI IN / 8 + 2 master outputs (stereo) jack on Symetric 6.35 / 2 between 6.35 JACK / 1 headphone jack 6.35
UTILIZATION
Very simple configuration (all are there for the knob tater). The edition is a breeze.
The manual is in English ......... very educational but a little too lightweight on the functions of sunsyn (hidden menus, etc.)
SOUNDS
I've had one YEARS
I love the grain of Analog sunsyn
This is a REAL synth 8 voice polyphony, which is not so, the multi-mode!!
Yes the sounds are great for electro and techno (and even the rock)
AN ANALOG synth is not made to reproduce a piano or trumpet
As I said above, no effect by integrated: PURE analog sound
I love all the sounds, the filters are great hummmmm
The expression is good: you can set the speed and set the modulation
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a year
All parameters are are edited and saved, all knobs send their data to the midi out (to control another synth)
I tried the Alesis ANDROMEDA from home (it's a pain to program, too much opportunity and more digital effects are dressing ......... it would hide the bad analog the oscilloscope ????)
The price is high (although decreased) but just look at the price of a poor little minimoog (monophonic midi ... and without the possibility of modulation and limited: for € 2000)
The sunyn is perfect for: large analog pad sounds, the Lower to die, leads ultra powerful, purely analog FX hummmmmmm
Caution as any analog synth sounds are mostly typed Electro Techno (c finally normal!)
Over time I would do this choice because there is no equivalent on the market today
