Published on 02/18/11 at 06:03I will not repeat the same information but its a mono (one note at a time) with a CSO, a high pass filter and a lowpass filter absolutely amazing, a resonance that farts fire, a rising up 1LFO 50hz ( instead of 20 on many small analos) and a routing system with 2 ADSR which are available with the Kawai experiments can be many and varied.
UTILIZATION
No need for a manual analog. At worst you look at the screen! In Kawai everything is clear.
SOUNDS
This synth is simply amazing. He bluffed me personally as a kid and discovered MS20 has 10x more personality than most analos more expensive, even a Yamaha CS (5/10/15) does not happen at the ankle.
Side FX is a pure delight. Amateur series and animated TV series of science fiction you'll find most of the range on this bike.
For lovers of bass that strips your monitors and well you will not be outdone. The Kawai is a low, very low (no need to sub osc on this machine!) Absolutely pure and honest - it will not lace!, A powerful medium, a sharp whistle and personally I like it.
Finally leads to Vangelis is perfectly possible (I have programmed!) And coupled with a little reverb and a nice time you can spend hours crying at the beauty of sound and especially the low pass filter which really sounds.
OVERALL OPINION
2 years, soon 3 years that I have this machine, I do not sell it. To those who are curious and not just the big names of analog go for it! because this machine is called Moog or other, it would clearly 800th minimum. I do not understand is why it is not more acclaimed.
Downside: no Arpe, no MIDI, no possibility to manage VST: A
