Thread iPhone compression? How to emulate it?

First post!! Does anyone know what settings on a compressor I can use to emulate the reaction of an iPhone? I like the sound I get.



I have a vintage DBX compressor I'd like to hook up to my tube pre and a good room mic to capture the same room/amp.

Also how do you delete a review? I put it in the wrong category.

Hey, and welcome!

I honestly don't know how to emulate the reaction of an iPhone, nor why you would even want that sort of compression :lol:

I do know that the amount of compression obviously differs when using their speaker or headphone jack for playback.

Maybe an article like this one can help, but probably not.

Regarding the review, let me know where you posted it and where you would like to have it moved, and I'll take care of that with my all-encompassing glorious admin powers
