Dear Fellow Audiofanziners!

timeSo this week we published a review of Gretsch G5191BK Tim Armstrong Electromatic Hollowbody Guitar which struck me as a bit odd that a punker such as Rancid's Tim Armstrong would be sporting this guitar.  It's not exactly your typical punk rocker's guitar of choice, and certainly not in the budget range for most beginning punkers.  But hey, when you close your eyes you still hear punk even if it doesn't look like it.  Though in this picture you can definitely see how Tim managed to punkify this most elegant hollowbody.

What else happened this week?  The anti-Vuvuzela (plastic African trumpet used in World Cup games by fans) movement is gathering wind, especially from the French side with some of the biggest anti-vuvuzela Facebook groups coming from the French with group titles I can't really repeat.  But you know, we don't need to fight over this thing because noise reduction solutions already exist in the form of plugins from the likes of Waves, Presonus and Presoniq

Have a great weekend!
