Dear Fellow Audiofanziners!

Wherever you are I hope you are someplace next to a good air conditioning unit because it seems like summer is in full bloom and unbearable to most.  [Off topic- why is it called “air conditioning” and not simply air cooling?  What are we conditioning the air to be? Or it is because such a unit creates optimal air conditions?  Beats me.]

OK on to our business.  Last weekend was the famous Summer NAMM show, two weeks ago I listed some rumors, most of which did not come true.  The show was at least as busy as last year's, though obviously lacking the big news like in Winter NAMM.  To see our complete coverage please go here.  You can filter all the news and videos by brand or category to focus on the news that you are interested in.  For a small highlight, we gathered together our Top 5 list of products from Summer NAMM 2012.  I know it is hard to choose just 5 products among so many, so please understand it is only our opinion :-).
