Zivix, the creator of JamStick, developed a new MIDI interface that connects wirelessly to your iOS devices.
Called PUC, this compact interface (76mm of diameter x 32mm high) connects to your MIDI instruments and controllers (synths, workstations, drum machines, DJ controllers, etc.) via a standard DIN connector and then communicate wirelessly with your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad through the WiFi network.
The PUC interface uses Core MIDI protocole to transmit the data, so any compatible app can be used. Note however than you’ll have to download a free dedicated app to interface the devices.
The interface is powered by 2 AA batteries or the auxiliary micro-USB port.
The Zivix PUC is available for $129.99 at www.mipuc.com.
