Zynaptiq has finally released Unfilter, its new audio processing plug-in designed to remove filter effects in real time on Mac and PC.
Unfilter, that had been announced at Musikmesse, allows for automatic signal frequency response “linearization”, by removing filters applied or excessive EQ. The plug-in also allows you to apply a measured filter response to another signal and export it as an impulse response in WAV format. Importing these IRs is also possible.
The plug-in features a shelf-type high-pass filter with a 96dB/octave slope and an output limiter.
Unfilter is available in AU, RTAS, AAX Native and VST plug-in formats on Mac OS X and Windows. Its price is 369€. More information at www.zynaptiq.com/unfilter/.
