The 3GB+ sound library features more than 450 Spring Drums and Thunder Tubes instruments and multis for Kontakt 5. These percussions are tubes of different sizes and shapes equipped with a spring and designed to create sounds between storm, gong and didgeridoo.
Sample Logic sampled and mangled most of the existing models (including some that are no longer available) and offers them to sound designers who are looking for percussive evolutive sounds and morphings.
Spring Drums custom GUI includes a Multi-core effect sequencer for real-time effect automation, 48 “Triggers” (effect chains), an Arpegiggator (a sequencer-based gate), an LFO section, an additive synth engine, a pitch sequencer for transpositions on the fly and multi-script macros to sequence instrument parameters in real time.
Spring Drums requires the full version of Kontakt 5.1 and later. The library is available for purchase on www.samplelogic.com for $99.99. Audio demos are also available on the same page.
