The Aura Bass Squarifier is a bass fuzz pedal (not December '), the analog operation.
It has two jacks (input and output) on the right side. Food (above) is made by the sector, 9v DC (attention, transformer not included). On top, three knobs: both the left are used to modulate the amount of fuzz and brightness, and the third, right, in yellow, is used to adjust the output volume. Bottom left, there is a footswitch to switch to no-fuzz fuzz, and a nice orange light tells us whether the effect is on or not.
The assembly is mounted in a metal box, probably indestructible.
It simplississime ... One branch is pressed, a small balance adjustment clean / fuzz, and rolls.
This is the most interesting point of the beast: you can get great fuzz sound in the treble and bass to keep intact (you can mix the light with the fuzz with two knobs on the right), giving excellent readability of the game and saves in aggression against a clear sound while remaining present in the grave. I do not feel, as with much distortion / fuzz bass, suddenly disappearing from the low end when I go into fuzz. A small 'hum' is heard, but nothing serious, the manufacturer is working ... The bypass (one-bypass TRUE, important detail) is royal no noise.
Unlike other distos that grind all frequencies without distinction, it allows you to send the wood, keeping a good presence. Greatly appreciated to add another layer when it is believed to be already catch!
It is a bit expensive, as produced in small quantities, but findable on ebay at a price more reasonable, but still cheaper than a wooly mammoth, for the most interesting in my opinion.
Indestructible, funky colors, handmade, its really an individual that does not sound too transistor (and for good reason ...): it's worth it.
I have contacted stupid to design a personal request:
A fuzz pedals for a synth (moog). The problem as a standard low loss
REFERENCE trade in great! The ralisations (fast and trsractive Designer)
is TERRIBLE !!!!!!!!!
Its standard and in addition it works with guitar, bass, and especially my synthe.
We can request the personnaliser.C is fresh, not easy to try,
but if you have a chance, plug it ... and we'll talk about ..........
Last precision: no resemblance to market products
- What are the effects or types of effects available?
A fuzzz true! nothing more, it does not even coffee
- What technology is used? (Analog, digital, tube ...)
-How it works:
ben a footswitch to change from clear to bypass the effect
three knobs no indications ... but you soon realize that There's a volume knob and two, the use of a filter can go a bit reducer to a fuzzer to a dry mix / effect according to which it is used and the position of the knobs.
The good: his sound is found quickly.
Small problem when positioning the jack (both on the left) and the taking of power supply (above) is not easy to rack ... additional power supply via external powersupply must 9V negative tip not included.
Using ultra simple ... it's a fuzz pedal not a cyclotron where a mirage F1. (Although seen potatoes ...)
Wuhu! I know nothing of the kind ... it sounds all over ... for delirium has been connected to the output of an RC50 and it swung a rhythm, you transform into a bossa nova rhythm Hyme breakcore!
I use a DeArmond M75t sue and also on my new Kaossilator! a killing. The Great, enhances its all infrabass with the KAOSS it acts like a kind of bit reducer according to certain settings ... mass murder, it sounds monstrous!
- How long have you use it?
- What is so special that you like most and least?
Big original sound, no loss of bass, great definition. Problem of power supply hum with some unregulated ... I had to try three power supply to find one that was not "zzzzzzzzzz"
- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
I tried most of the fuzz on the market (big muff, fuzz face, Zvex etc, nothing to do!)
- How would you rate the quality / price?
250 euros is a bit expensive, but I am happy with this purchase!
- With experience, you do again this choice? ...
