«  The Swiss Army knife of low distortion »

Published on 07/08/11 at 06:01
It's a distortion pedal format, aimed at practitioners of the four strings.
The format is not too big and therefore does not take up too much space in the pedal board.
TRUE BYPASS.

UTILIZATION

The config is very simple. 4 knobs that can handle the volume of the pedal, gain, tone and mix of fact and "dry".
I have never read the manual so you understand quickly what are the different settings.
Beware however the movement of knobs are very sensitive and effective.

SOUND QUALITY

I use two different bass. US precision and low in my design, blend of jazz and stingray. Each time the range of instruments is respected. The pedal does not alter the original sound (mix left).
It starts the first push and then we start in the overdrive light just done to inflate the cruncher and sound, especially when there is only one guitarist.
By increasing the gain is varied from crunch to overdrive very dirty. We can then change the pitch of the sound which leaves few options.
When starts the poussoi BOOST, so here we are in the realm of fuzz. Unlike the Big Muff for EHX, it does not bleed. In fact I sold the EHX to use only the TC now.
She does what is asked of him. It was the type of ODB3 BIG MUFF and in one pedal.
In chord on a bass, you can almost hear a guitar with distortion ....

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using maintenat a month and I really enjoy the trigger. I did not know what to do or where to look for the distortion that would suit me. I found in TC.
I'm definitely a fan of their products.
I went through the EHX Big Muff, the ODB3 well I threw my heart on this pedal. What I like most is the great modularitée the least ... May be at the boost that can sometimes break the ears if the volume is too loud.
