This brand comes from England trs used in our Anglo-Saxon friends: Colin Greenwood (Radiohead), Adam Clayton (U2), "Fire" John Entwistle (Who), Roger Waters (Floyd), Paul McCartney (in his last album with Goldrich), Kravitz, Mark King (Level 42), Nick Fyffe (Jamiroquai) trs etc ... and surprisingly little known in our counter Gauloises. These are old Trace Eliot marqueil this background that are 5 or 6 years. This amp has one of the first t be put on the market. It pr possde a lamp or amplification transistor (mixable) and an amplification transistor (MOSFET) Its power is 500W as the name implies. Essentially, the connection is complte with a line out in front or APRS qualisation faade. Insert send and return.2 monitor output. Sub output (only true BMOL, trsdcevante, it has stopped the manufacture of cabinet sub) An effect that is a kind of octave (dosed by potentiomtre) that may be used to magnify the sound. All with a qualisation paramtrique MOITI pots / half faders pretty convenient (7 bands). A vintage view of nitre prampli power. between a mixed active / passive with a push to select the level dentre, a button "flat" (preset qualisation fairly "flat"), a mute button (tranquillle tuning, dye and turn without touching the volume) and the possibility to remove the qualisation. The faade and color "Blue Steel" also vintage trs (I like its look). All this is mostly complete and trs breathless. I am not 10 because I bought the era the active speaker in Sub complment my normal pregnant and her wonderful lost in the original attack, power ... and became rotten. (600 Euros volatiliss)

UTILIZATION

The setup is classic complte and easy to use and especially you do not pick up Radio PKINIT on the output line, I have used in direct recording console, silent sound perfect. The multiple rglages including the possibility to mix the pramp transistor or a lamp can trs versatility. The manual is available online in English, but certainly clear and widely enough.

SOUNDS

As well tell you right now, I'm in love with the sound of this amp it live with my console or cabinet (from the same brand for that matter). The sound is trs "large" with a lot of attack ar prcis, warm with a grain of lightweight lamp with a natural compression in the acute mdiums. I play with either a Musicman 5 string with a fret or fretless 6-string Leduc any style (pop, rock and jazz) I often use it with virtually no qualisation the sound from the prampli lamp. All sounds can be the edge thanks qualisation and versatility of the pre-amp. The original lamp sounds good but I have the opportunity to replace it with a 12AX7 high-end (old stock of the weapon of the 60s) and I have become even more heat.

OVERALL OPINION

I have this "head" amp for 5 years now. I lug around everywhere without any problem. I have used in all configurations and always with satisfaction. We just ask me often, an APRS set, the origin of this amp in complimenting me on its sound. I had a Gallien and Trace Eliot and I jou on Peavey, Marshall, Fender. I never jou on Ampeg amp but I tried a light-prampli SWR is the only power (in the hot pop-rock) replace my amp. . In the era, I had to pay 8500 francs prs nine, it's expensive but I have never returned. I am of course prs again this choice, but you have understood, without the active speaker Sub (supposedly a wonder ...) I keep in the craw. So ... 9, but this episode unfortunate that you do not renew c'tait 10.
