UTILIZATION

- The configuration is simple?
There are very many rglages connectivity and impressive: a m'inquitait.

- Do you get easily a good sound?
With so rglage, I already saw myself spending hours looking for a sound. WRONG!
There is a sound, very very good and fast
The presshape are very good, especially the lyrics, which my great surprise, did not release a jazz fusion sound like I hates, but a beautiful sound quite full, round, with the right amount of shine.
Pdalier of the CONTRL (eqON chanel + / OF Compon + / OF + presshape) provided with silent, which is really apprciable

- The manual is clear and sufficient?
uh, I've found on the net. just look. I UNESCORecords this opinion when I should document on "hi / lo switch"
I put only 8 because the head is standard and very heavy (well wooden box pais):
t if the head had any lights ok, but Was that really useful for a hybrid amp 300w.

SOUNDS

- Should your style of music?
I play rock, india, the psyche, pop, the mtal ... At any rate, I find a stupid to say "I want the sound to my brit-pop low."
This head me out sounds that I want: the "glong-glong" round and shiny, "krunk krunk-" Round and aggressive, "Klonk-Klonk" of mdiator, the "ding-tonk "slap in the ...
With the preamp lamp, if one puts the "pre" strong enough, you can tweak the sound pleasantly by the intensity of his playing

Small problem: the large distortion are ugly (just may be a lamp of the preamp in mine, the former owner had replaced the Sovtek tube with a groove)

OVERALL OPINION

- For how long have you been using it?
I use this head for 1 month
- Bafil with a Hartke 4 * 10 (bof)
- Bafil Eden 2 * 10
- Or the Bafil an old ampeg combo 1 * 15 +1 * 10 horn acute.
- I also put in an effects loop Preamp SansAmp PSA1 notament to add crunch or aggressive distos well.
- I use as my low Faithful & G L2000.
With the baffles Ampeg or Eden, has really sounds very very good.

- What is the specific feature you like best, the least?
The weight and bulk of the head, the distortion of the pre-amp does not like it
The breath of the power tag

- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
I tried ampeg SVT3 Pro (not bad), my old Trace Elliot GP11 combos that I like, but is very transparent, a little cold, modern Trace Elliot (yuck, it takes 3 week to find sound), and Hartke (yuck, this brand does not like my G & L). I also test a head Fafner is very good, but not in the same price range.

- How do you report qualitprix?
Excellent! When the head is out, rate it was 4000 or 5000 francs (no longer manufactured). I got it secondhand for 370 euros. Only my old Trace Elliot combo 4 * 10 8 years ago bought into the comparison with the head. In addition, the object is beautiful (the plate and large chrome button mmmmmmmmmh ....)

- With the exprience, you do again this election?
I bought this head because I read a test on his great (db400h) in Bass Magazine. Obviously, this attempt to break into the Laney market medium-high-end Has Failed a commercial and then this series is discontinued (the musician would they be too snobbish)
Bass Magazine s'tait do not tromp it is a great stuff that I'm really pleased. Use with my SansAmp allows me to get a very large variety of sound quality.
