A transistor amplifier and a preamp (12AX7), adjustable by a knob gain.
One finds all the features of this series with Mark Little gain knob that adds more drive.
Power of 500W at 4 ohms and 350W into 8 ohms.
Input there is only one jack, and then to output, XLR output for the "balanced", Speakon / Jack for encenites.

UTILIZATION

Setup is simple. The input gain to settle with the LED clip, then the drive of the lamp, Low mids treble equalizers and famous VLE and VPF filters dear to the brand.
I did not have the manual and I am very well.
To have a sound one spends hours ... With all these buttons to turn, reagents, we offer a range of its huge, it's a bit long.
But once you get the knack, you get a good sound. I'll make some smile, but you can have one of its ampeg easily (with less weight).

SOUNDS

This is an amp that suits all styles of music.
When cutting the lamp gives the sound of LMIII with all its possibilities. Then when you start to tickle the gain of the lamp, we can create a sound that plays on the field of large tube amp.
I play with a precision fitted with Seymour Duncan SPB2, and with a setting that includes a lot of mediums. Frankly it does it well. This is not "sound" but "sound" ...
I'm not a huge slapper but by turning the knob of FFT, we dig the midrange and it's really stunning.
And the DI is super efficient.

OVERALL OPINION

Basically to summarize the features of this amp is that with this little beast we get to play jazz, waltz, rock (which is the coolest edgier).
I also used the studio and it's very good compared to my old ASHDOWN ABM.
I got tired of lugging my 45kg of gear to go into rehearsal or concert, so I looked and I found this little Swiss Army knife of bass amplification.
What bothers me a bit is the price, because the head over the fact that HP 4x6 near euros.C 1700 is almost the price of the reference amplifier.
But the weight, the weight AHHHH. Head in the bag that goes into a backpack, the HP in one hand and the bass in the other ... Nothing to say.
This is an interesting choice. I had the head LM 250, which I criticized for having no character, and although there is a great job on the part of the brand ...
