Configuration is very simple. All afternoon and it already sounds very good. The bass is great (I have a 115 and a 210 of the same brand, it helps) and the adjustment range of mediums is very important.

Sure lamps and brand go to the rock ... to the sound track eliott, iron.
The amp can approach almost all the sounds in blues and rock record. Compared to Ampeg, I think we lose the vintage side of sound in the mids and bass are a little less round.
on the other hand, there is gaining momentum, attack, sustain in, heat ... For me no picture at the same price between two brands.

I use it for 1 year after going through Markbass and Hartke. The comparison is unnecessary, the range is not the same. The effect is immediate live: no need to force the volume to penetrate the mix! To 10/10, would have had to do all the weight of a Markbass, but this is missed (not so much the amp but the speakers is the beast 32Kg) ...

Super easy to use.

SOUNDS

Its huge. Beautiful grain, especially in the bass. Suitable for all styles but with a tendency rock, heavy, blues or rhythm and blues.

OVERALL OPINION

I use a 2x10 "and 15" Mesa. After owning moult amps (lamps and transistors), I think I've found the right this time.

Already the first bad surprise: the output of DI, which I use for recording, is controlled at the master, so the master button must be at least 12 and the level knob for DI donf have a proper output level, suddenly it pummeled to death in the Hp (not cool for the neighbors!), or it must disconnect the head! Two very big surprises: after only 2 months of use, without the head was never carried one time for a gig, then remained only in home studio, Intermittent crackling appeared at frequencies of closer and closer together, SUN and HP! A trick phew!

I turned my head dealer of course check on the lights, but nada! Suddenly, the head is distributed to the importer, who has kept more than one month and finally returned to me ... but without having solved the problem, abused!

So, I asked my dealer to take up this excellent mind that I did not want to keep longer, and to exchange it for one finally Portabass Ampeg PB800 head that I should receive soon ...

Rather easy to use.

The manual ... English only ... confirms the principle of enslavement DI / Master and explains that if we want to separate the two, as is the case on most amps, simply contact them to get the wiring diagram and edit. to make yourself ... What about the warranty? very risky if you're not a pro in electronics and soldering iron! Well, another bad point!

This is normally the stuff of high-end, mine cost me close to 1400 euros anyway, and finally I was very disappointed with this purchase (poor reliability, bp DI, and what Can it give after several concerts ???). Advice, avoid buying this head!

This amp has a preamp lamps and a mosfet amplifier. It dlivre 4ohms 300w sub and 165W into 8 ohms. It has two instrument inputs, one active and one passive, an effects loop 2 HP and one XLR output. It has a SETTING THE gain, severe (active) to medium (passive), acute (active), a 3-band equalizer paramtrique, an adjustable output level for the direct and a master. The level of DI is coupled to the master and to contradict the following notice at the last concert he gave me just 4-5 with a master to the level of di noon while the level is perfectly adequate The guy who we also did background music for me compliments on the quality of the head.

UTILIZATION

The manual is all in English trs trs clear and gives good directions to get the sound DSIR. The configuration is close to many heads of concurrent mark and therefore very easy job when you're used to use an amp.

SOUNDS

I play rhythm and blues blues and funk. My head is connected to a 2 * 10 and a Mesa Boogie 15 of the same brand. I play with an American Deluxe Jazz Bass. First the head is trs faithful to the sounds of the bass and makes trs well diffrence between the sounds of micro diffrent configuration. It also amplifies all what you play intentional or not (fingers tapping on the microphone, attack of the strings). The corrections are effective and trs qualiseur paramtriques in particular. Submitted trs are the serious and treble range from soft and warm to slamming trs. The SETTING THE normment gain influence on the whole by providing a trs prcis rglage below the middle to round trs beyond.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year and a half now and I am satisfied with TRS. The sounds are excellent and easily changed and power is at the appointment. I hsit length including the purchase because of bad reviews on its reliability. I actually got in trouble for noise ds lamp which pramp silent dfectueuse (bp microphone). This seems normal, with the head t bought used.
I tried many other amps before, Mark Bass that I found too dull with its powerful enough, the SWR on the contrary, I found too sharp too aggressive, and TRSR recently a SVT-3 Pro head and still nothing like the sound is much less Dfine and opportunities are more limited, the grosso-modo svt3 dlivre 100w more than the walkabout, but rendering and sound prsence MSA gives the impression that it is largely the opposite.
This choice I would do without problems, little more, the look is very classy trs.

UTILIZATION

Very easy and effective use. You just turn a knob and the sound changes notably. It's a very intuitive amp head, you'll immediately find the sound you want.

SOUNDS

The EQ is quite useful to shape the sound, the input gain is perfect to get a very round sound or a punchy tone with a slight saturation. I use it with an active Ibanez for a full and accurate sound or with a Jazz Bass for a vintage tone. The tube preamp has a strong influence on the overall sound of the amp.

OVERALL OPINION

Excellent value for money. The amp head is easy to transport thanks to its small size and light weight, the slip cover and the shoulder strap.
