«  Very nice surprise »

Tube preamp (12AX7) Power Amp 400W (4ohm) with power supply. supplies. The usual SWR characteristics plus the ability to TURN OFF ENHANCER. What makes this taste in my amp almost perfect ... avoiding excessive brightness and acute releases that mark.

UTILIZATION

The parameters are very effective, although small, should be handled with tweezers. I tried this amp on a Fender 4x10 cabinet 8 ohms. It lacked in my opinion a bit of power, one is quickly at the cleat (no clip and Master Gain to 10.00) before hitting the red and use the compressor (adjustable) of the amplifier. So: 4 Ohm Cabinet MANDATORY if you want to maximize. Amp

SOUNDS

tried MUSIC MAN with a passive Jazz Bass, everything sounds clear, defined with the body (bottom) and a good offense. All styles: pick, fingers, slap, jazz. Anything goes, if you need the technique. He will not forgive the imperfections. Personally, I love the sound without the enhancer ... Mr. E, thank you Mr SWR

OVERALL OPINION

I love this amp that sounds great and terrible light. I bought it when I sub! we compared it to a tube and an Ampeg LittleMark SVT7 none given distance, much less dynamic. I put 8 / 10 because I would have endured with 1kg more with 400W into 8 ohms.
