I have an old version of B115 1973. Identical to the front head STV 350 W. I added an XLR DI output after an insert and EQ on each of two channels plus an exit after TS EQ for a second amp. 2 channels with each channel: volume, bass, medium with 3 frequencies, and treble with an ultra high switch. High and low impedance inputs on each channel. Components oldies but goodies. Each channel preamp is designed around two ICs, op amp first generation. A true forum for the HP 15 "Magnavox 8ohms. Class AB amplifier with 4 x 2N4348 supplied with + / - 56V. Suffice to say that the 120W RMS are present.

UTILIZATION

Accurate sound with the equalizer. Power to spare. Used with Fender JazzBass U.S. (72) and MusicMan Stingray (80), a 5-string bass and a fretless 4 string instrument maker. Between the setting of the instrument and the amp gives a powerful bass and treble unusual. One of the amps used by J. Jammerson, bassist of record of Motown

SOUNDS

Perfect for jazz and blues. For special services, used with a Bass Pod Pro Line 6 (with insert on the mix). If the instrument is well made, the receiver will allow the sound you want! Also reveal a low-end bass. You can not cheat

OVERALL OPINION

I have over 20 years. Trace Elliot tried, I had a Fender Bassman and a Acoustic 360 with a HP 18 "! But have always kept the Ampeg.
Minimum: Amp super heavy for a combo: 46kg, 50kg with the cover!
Plus: The sound palette and the available power
Repeat this choice? Certainly!
