EBS Drome 12

150 Watts Combo Amp.

It's the size of a small home 40 watt Peavy and weighs less that a 60 watts Peavey.
I have spoken to owners of the new Chinese built EBS Drome Classic's and they state they have a product as least as good as My Swedish built Drome

UTILIZATION

I have played Bass 53-or 54 years. I have owned Fender, Peavey, Ashdown and many more and they all weighed a lot.

This Bass Amp Combo is smaller and lighter than any of them:

Built in Compressor is worth $500. It out performs any pedal!

The Manuel is clear and comes with wiring diagram!

Lows, mids, Highs to die for!

Played straight Thru in a 30.000 cubic m hall and 600 people. They all said they heard me!

Warwick Thumb,Slap/Funk/Blues. Yamaha BB714 BS,Slap/Funk/Rock/Blues/Soul & Jazz, Ibenez 3001, Fender Marcus Miller Jazz, etc etc!

-Gain, Compressor / limiter, low, medium parametric, both acute and bright..etc

USE

Difficult settings because this combo delivers a deep low is sometimes messy.
It will use its ears to adjust and nothing else.
EBS is like TRACE one likes or dislikes!
Manuel shit logically amateur.

SOUNDS

For the size is the price, it is worth taking an MBE gallien 150 that more character and is much more versatile and accurate but less powerful for small scenes.

The +: Dynamic Super for slap but not fingers.

-Many Too expensive and still a bit heavy for distances of over 50 meters (17kgs), the NeoDrome Model 12 is lighter and wheels!
- With experience, you do again this choice?

UTILIZATION

A small adjustment for precision settings, but the sound is there, gently with my 6-string, c as caresses to be given ... to make you upset ...

SOUNDS

I have a 6-string Hofner electro-active - c on the real - the proactive and issued is irresistible, let's go and Quench, there would be no limit if the power c as a combo .. . I can not imagine with what Rock can get laid, but this is not the case ... Finesse, power, dynamic electro active - active you are afraid ... Watch your step ... thank you ...

OVERALL OPINION

Oh ben c too much for me because I am too and I'm looking for bass Gallien Kruger a more versatile sound ... So I change every two, three years ...

Amp-150W RMS transistor (they are really there!)
-Inputs: Lo-Jack 6.35 + Z + RCA input to connect an mp3, a PC or a drum machine for example (+ knob front for adjusting the sound level)
-Output: XLR, the send-returns, Line out, Tuner Out ...
-Most: Small switch for selecting pre or post eq eq, connect the ground or not (to remove the buzz), other options for the effects (I did jms trendy pedal on this amp) and an attenuated according to bcp low on the track monitor (handy for playing on a song with a lower tro present)
-The knobs: Gain, compressor / limiter, bass, parametric mid, treble and bright (one passes easily from a vintage sound with a modern sound with this little button)

UTILIZATION

It takes a little tweaking the sound settings before finding the ideal sound.

SOUNDS

A fantastic fishing, c amazing what this little beast in the belly ... It lacks a little depth but with a small amount of space you can not ask tt. Ideal for repeated (no metal or Kepone course) and even small stage (Jazz, funk, fusion). The range of sound is quite limited, it remains a modern sound, brilliant ms can also emulate a vintage sound but it does not apply ampeg or acoustic at this level (must love the wardrobe and have a van to travel)

OVERALL OPINION

It's a bit expensive but well worth it, I have tested in the various rehearsal room 'face to trace elliot + 300W, 410 Hartke, Peavey ... they do not have this fishing is characteristic of EBS on c than on the trunk on the other hand ... I'm saving and I will buy a extansion, then a 115 or a 410 and a header from socket ... ms ca
