I bought this amp through Musicians Friend and paid about $280. I bought this amp because i need something portable with some punch that could be used at smaller gigs.

It is very easy to move around, and is a perfect practice amp. It has two selectable channels, one which has a gain gontrol for distortion and one for clean. Also I like the rock back feature, which makes the amp handy for stage use. The carpet on the amp is very durable, and it has a nice handel.

This amp is a great practice amp like I said before, but at the gig when you ahve to turn it up past helf volume, even on the clean channel there is awful distortion. I would not recomend this amp to anyone with a Musicman like mine with active pickups. The amp cannot seem to handel it and thus sounds like a blown out speaker. Also a 3 band EQ is barley enough with no other tone selections. And why is the power switch on the back???

The amp is well constructed, and covered with carpet so you dont have to worry about scratches. You do have to worry about dog hair though. The amp has a nice handel which make it comfortable to carry around.

This amp is not one I would buy again, at least for anything but playing by yourself. I ended up trading mine in for a Ampeg 115. Good for practice, not so good at the gigs. But hey, what can you expect for a little under $300?

UTILIZATION

I am not a bass but the bass drummer but am interested to learn and I took that GK (jsute before I had taken a Hartke 30 W and I was disappointed Verily sound and especially power)

where happiness, although I'm not even really play the notes I qqs go out on this amp fills me with happiness.

I also sometimes goes to bass players I play with and who in return utiise either amp live (small room) and while skeptical at first they were conquered rapidemnet sound coming out of the GK 110.

SOUNDS

style soul, gospel, Caribbean, reggae

I play on an Ibanez SR300 4-string LH (active) and LH Warwick Rockbass Streamer 5 string (passive)> nb: the lower left

I love the fat sound, rich in low frequency "on the ropes SI Warwick ", after it is a 10 "should not be too much to ask but I already satistaif.

also slap it with a good setting provides.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a year but I learned the bass,

I see his capicités especially when I have my friends who plays bass on it

I have also used Amp piano scene and return to my battery.

I had the Hartke 30W and is tested or heard any other bass combo, this one does not have to blush, far from it.

quality / price excellent especially as I paid Motie price when Thomann was the end of series.

for my level (beginner bass) utiilsation his (small scene, back bass, piano or drums and learning bass) and sends it to the sound I GUARD without hesitation.

regret that do not have one: not having the price 115 GK beginner but I'm still reasonably low, not seeing the utility once that I still have not besides, I mean is that if I like the 110 déjç the 115 would have even more I think.

the sound is good compared to my old amp (Hartke beurk300!)

SOUNDS

It is very suitable for what I play
I played a P-bass special with custom Bartolini pickups.
Low-fat but rather are much less now that the Hartke HA3500 + VX410 the rehearsal room!

sound, I like it! except that the small running out of steam pretty quickly ...
it makes an uncritical group play whatever I feel like the HP rode a bit and you can ask him a little more each time!

OVERALL OPINION

I've had six months, bought really cheap, it replaces my Hartke B300.

I like the foot bath (but I raised a bit to make it closer z'oreilles)
weight about 15kg, it is transported!
I like a little less power just for group play.
very good value for money (RAM opportunity!)

Something that I find none: the act of plugging a headset does not disconnect the HP?!

with 4x and go to a gallien MB150 lighter and less power just

UTILIZATION

Simple setup, easy adjustments.
It is true that the drummer taps a bit much it meant bad quality or reduced as has pushed back.

SOUNDS

I played with a Cort evl Z3B with EMG, and claps. You can have a heavy well as lighter tones for the slap. Saturates is just nothing, it gives something fairly deguelasse without much interest, except perhaps in electronic music.

OVERALL OPINION

After 7 months of use I am really satisfied, it is perfect to play alone or ox. I played before on a Hartke 20 watt, but the backline really sounds better. At the price it is, skip it?

SOUNDS

My first impression was that this little combo would never be able to support my 5 string. (VINTAGE IS 96)
Error! this amp with a 10 "a monstrous paaatttaaatttee! compared to its size.
it supports so serious without flinching. config ultra simple fact that one gets to have the sound you want quickly.
very deep and severe acute clacking.
I play mostly rock funk soul and it sounds perfect.
the only thing a little bizzzzare on first listen is the distortion. but after a little more time it becomes pleasant and even somewhat resembles the one used by a flea

OVERALL OPINION

since I am using this amp - one month
the finish is excellent
carpets, pots of touch, the grille of the hp makes this amp exudes ruggedness and reliability. GK requires
one can criticize this amp to be a little short niveeau power, but when you buy a 70w one must be realistic and not expect to deafen the Stade de France.
given the size of this amp and that of the HP team that really is the power delivered bleuffante. I had the opportunity to try combos larger, higher power and much more expensive Souvant who did not much fishing.
value for money excellent. An amazing little combo
