I had this amp a few months in 2004. It is 40 watts into 8 ohms (as is) and 65 into 4 ohms (8 ohms with hp external plugged into the jack on the back), so the name is confusing. Foul, I would say.
Therefore less powerful, especially since his hp, eminence or not, is very feeble.
Good connectivity, the shape can be controlled remotely, 5-band equalizer, effects loop, it's all good. Virtually no background noise.

UTILIZATION

The frequencies of the equalizer are bizarre, hard to avoid this unpleasant metallic clatter. I changed the hp to see and it's better but still weird so good I not see the point of this amp.
I can not advise, currently dating a marshall 30 watt ring of hell for little more expensive and it sounds at least as strong.

SOUNDS

It is not good, metal and thin, and riquiqui in output level.
You can recommend this gadget to your competitor, he will work less and you will have a substantial technical advance.

OVERALL OPINION

I had problems after 3 months, over its full of cracks and then, very unstable. So I removed the circuit, found nothing suspicious, still brushed it all with an old toothbrush, back and everything works impec miracle again ...
The finish is poor, and the case is downright shame (the signs are with glue and small squares ...).
Hands off!
