«  Good memories ... »

100-watt amp transistor 80s.
In front, a high gain for low input passive, low gain for active basses.
At the rear, a jack for HP.
Controls very simple:
. volume,
. serious
. treble (pull the knob push / pull, it switches to bright treble, ie more slap)
. voicing which is the equivalent of a tone

Very sturdy box, carpentry is very well finished.
This model is part of the latest batch of material manufactured in the USA, before the relocation of the Kustom brand in Asia.

UTILIZATION

Configuration simple and intuitive.
No manual in my possession, but it is not necessary.
It quickly finds (s) sound (s) want (s).
Power level, no problem for group play: they are real watts! He made a feast of music outdoors, and you could hear the bass very well.

SOUNDS

Ideal for playing blues or hard rock though rough, it must be suitable for carefree jazz.
Not at all suited, in my opinion, for the fusion, metal and funk.
I preferred to use it with a passive bass: it's a simple amp, must be assigned a single instrument!

OVERALL OPINION

I used it 2 years, and I rather regret for selling him because he has a particular texture, warmth and presence that is not found in the recent amps.
