Novanex PG120

It is a 60 watt amp transistors (??). Nothing spcial level connectors, all is Jack (2 entries - normal and bright), a drive, a prsence.
Rglages level, four strips of legalization (acute, acute-Mdium, Mdium-serious, serious), a vomume gnrale, 1 volume and 1 volume Prsence Drive.

UTILIZATION

It could not be simpler. The knobs are brutal, the sound is a great "bright" to "sub-bass." Sounds rather better in round one amp is very warm.

SOUNDS

The sound is CHARACTERISTICS, trs color. I played with it a JazzBass and nickel. I'm curious to try it with a Stingray! It lacks a bit of breath, 120 watts tration!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for ten years (bought for 500 francs OCCAZ), I love the "sound", its warmth, its color (musical!) Big ngatif point: Its size and weight is a real fridge!
I bought an Ampeg Pro SVTIII, I sold two years ago to return to my old friend "Novanex". Level of sound quality, Ampeg is of course well above trs, but the power and precision are not everything ... The Ampeg lacked soul. The Novanex is "alive".
Ds I have a little more gold coins, I m'achte another amp more versatile and more powerful, but I never spares "from" Novanex!
Mine is in bad state, and I will Fully retapp the ... I think that is good REFERENCE PB120 (not PG120)
