AccuGroove El Whappo

This cabinet is Submitted by Accugroove like a big studio monitor bass can dvelopper up 800W under 4ohms. Mine (latest version) is not famous nor control over the Accuswitch mdiums. CHARACTERISTICS his main is the power / weight ratio: it is trslger (35kg) for a power trs comfortable. It is supposed to cover the entire range of the low thanks to the prsence an HP 15 ", a 12", a 6 ", 2 tweeters and an event.
It is Designed to be used with an amp head or a combination prampli adquate + amp.
For my part I use a Demeter prampli amplifiers LabGruppen in rptition studio and in concert.
It is a high-end speaker benefitted from technological advances dernires amplifcation Contents of bass (Neodynium etc.). All technical specifications are the manufacturer's website.

SOUNDS

This cabinet is Designed to make no coloration to the sound of the bass, and it is indeed a cabinet with which it will not handle the controls of hsiter prampli / amplifier for the sound of Sir. The positioning of the amplifier in a pice or scne is also quite important: in the corner of a pice and possible on the ground provides the best in terms of rsultat rponse .
It is mono.
The sound is clear and prcis across the spectrum of the instrument.
The dynamics is very well respected. Power is l. It is obtained we want the volume you want.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a little less than a year.
What I like most is its weight / power ratio, the fact that we can shape the sound REALLY its convenience, especially that it achieves clarity and DEFINITIONS copy of the lowest notes (on the B string of a 5-string)
I possdais Tri210L of the same brand for a few months ago and j'tais dj convinced by this cabinet, but with the El Whappo I could have a serious rel intake and use my amp Manir optimal. I tried other speakers and is one of the best.
The MODEL is expensive (not import in France) but the quality is l. The sound is linked to the concept and this level of quality is a matter of taste. However, it must be remembered that the quality of sound is also due to the quality of the instrument amplifier.
Exprience I would do with that choice.
