The 15 "for beautiful still serious,
and lightness at all.
I use it all over again to the recording studio
coffee to large concert stages and festivals.
The amp used is a markbass HT 503, an amp head
which is no longer in the catalog.
SOUNDS
The frequency curve is rather neutral, there is the cardboard markbass side, but only
transistor with the heads of the mark, while in contrast, with a tube amp, the amp's features are well respected.
The sound is clear and well below the equalization that requires it.
I love the sound, clear and powerful, well coated bass, both deep and profound ...!
mediums are well rendered, and the highs are salient enough pure slap, even a little too much for my taste: I can do with my feedback passive jazz bass!
But we can cut the tweeter.
OVERALL OPINION
For a year now, before I had a Hartke VX410, a combo with a Hartke 12 "
Calrsbro one with a 15 ", a MarkBass with 3x10" and I tried lots of configs on tour (SWR, Eden, Trace Elliot, etc. ...)
For weight, and compact size, I'm never picked it up, even with the worst logging on drums, the sound is very clear and very malleable and powerful.
He collects the very low B, even with a 5 string very violent, like Sandberg or accuracy Deluxe!
I just looking for a way to mitigate this feedback, with some effects like distortion or wah wah!
If it all over again I would resume the same, I am completely satisfied with this speaker sounds, is lightweight, and reliable despite all the treatments!
It is powerful, and renders the character of the amplifiers and bass that goes into it, for me to change anything!
