I bought it after you sold a EBS 4x12, far too bulky and heavy to use as I had.
J'hsitais between BSE and a Mesa 2x12 because I wanted something bolder than the EBS.
I use a Gallien Krueger head 700RB2 into 8 ohms.
SOUNDS
The sound of my Stingray 4 wonderful spring, has complied with the grain without be completely neutral, the sound is powerful and the spectrum is full.
Mesa does not communicate The characteristics of the speakers in terms of dynamics or dB, but the sound sends kilometer grids without drooling.
The regulation of the focus tweeter is fairly complete, with a crossover extra, handy for cutting or absorb Frequencies that you want.
The rest is plug and play!
OVERALL OPINION
I bought two months ago, prices have increased by about 5-10%, rating it a bit more expensive now (1050 cons about 980 last year), but the price is largely justified by the quality of workmanship.
I MODEL with black grille and the look is hell. A cover is also provided.
Before that I had the Trace Elliot (2x12 ") and EBS (4x12), the Mesa gives me the sound I'm looking for a long time. I'm thrilled.
I tried a cabinet Gallien Krueger which is much cheaper and that sounded really good, but when you can afford the Mesa, it does not hesitate.
Quality report right price, you pay the mark too, but hey, the quality is felt, is hand manufactured in the USA.
If my banker does not kill me before, I think I take his twin brother next year to tap the head into 4 ohms.
The weight of the vehicle is comfortable, compared with 61kg of my former EBS, it is only 36 kg, thus can be worn alone, and the wheels are convenient (you can remove them very easily) .
