« Ideal for bars »
Published on 05/31/10 at 11:372 * 12 ", 400W, 8ohm + HF driver adjustable.
2 Speakon jacks 2 6.35. A Speakon cable is included with the Bafil.
2 vents in the rear.
Used alone with the head RH450.
A fourth volume in bars and even large rooms (ballroom style), almost completely to the full air.
SOUNDS
Everything goes in, the quick slap is rendered, the serious as well.
Difficult to judge a speaker but I prefer a 610 or 410 Ampeg Hartke.
Big Muff, Octave, Wah Wah does it pose any problem.
Indoor distribution is very good and sound also.
Outdoor (half football field) alone it is insufficient and it requires to push the amp to the bottom and the sound is less good. At the same time for a 2 * 12 "Seems normal.
OVERALL OPINION
Used in many different conditions (bars, concert halls, ballroom, full tunes) it turns out great for any home, especially in bars where these 2 hp bunk can wedge it anywhere.
Rear vents to provide a good drummer back when the amps are placed ahead the battery, which is a very good point. The disadvantage is that when there is no wall behind the amp (outdoors) there is a lot less bass on the front.
So I think it add a 410 (or 15) with front vents to the outside.
It is a very good speaker, has a fair price, that sounds good and is very convenient.
It goes very well with the RH450.
