Very comprehensive

SOUND QUALITY

Positively impressed.

Compressor: good but rather aggressive

Defretter: Quite awful

Octaver: very good but can only transpose one octave below (big organ sounds are not possible)

Distortion, fuzz, overdrive: Multi-effect processors can't give good results when it comes to these effects...

Humanizer: Good effect with comprehensive editing possibilities but quite unique sound (you won't need it every day)...

3-band EQ: simple and effective

Bass synth: Not convincing, very heavy sound...

T-wah: Good

Chorus: Excellent from crystal-clear to rich and psychedelic effects

Flanger: Same thing

Delay: Awesome, a real delay!

Reverb: Very good (with hall, room, plate algorithms)

If you want to switch to tuner mode you'll need an additional footswitch (e.g. FS-U).

Very comprehensive and effective effects processor with a good sound quality. You'll get it secondhand for a very nice price.

The overall sound color is good and only good effect pedals can compete with it.

LIKE VIRTUALLY EVERY MULTI-FX, WHEN YOU RECALL A BANK OR A PRESET THE UNIT GENERATES A SHORT LAG (not audible on stage and rehearsal situations).

It's also ok for guitars! ! !

I only miss a polyphonic octaver effect!

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it secondhand really cheap with the original user's manual and external PSU. I don't regret my purchase. This multi-effects sounds better than new processors. It sounds less digital. The sound has a digital touch indeed, but it's deep and reminds me of effect pedals!

the octave is most excellent, reverbs and delay GNiales!
Compression, Qualizer are somewhat GROSSIRE but effective.
The modulations are just beautiful.
The fretless simulator; a real crap!
The distortion, fuzz and other OD as on any multi effect is not America but workable.

Some of the effects are well worth some pedals boss by far.

Yes if I Faisai guitar; with a guitar he must do it very badly Multi-effect!
much better than the new generation ME-Me-20b and 50b as fewer synthetics, more musical, more flexible and latency between the patch changes a lot, but much less so than in recent prononcs 2!

Multi fx very practical and complete (it contains all the bass pedals from home boss).
it is easy to use and can be found easily with a good sound.
I personally tried the Boss GT6 from home and I'm not found on the bottom, it is operated differently and I prefer the use of me8b and I find no difference in sound quality between the two models. I highly recommend to all. Price argus seems to me strange because I had bought 20000bef (500euros) some years ago ..

The effects are good, but the factory patches are just some Exess, but everything is so cool .. ditable
is a multi effects for bass.
the synth bass is a bit heavy.

OVERALL OPINION

For a month.
it is very easy to use and complete (tuner and more!)
too bad there is no expression pedals. The Next-Generation home boss (gt6b) looks more complte level connectivity and a possde PDAL
no other models tested on a low but gfx8 zoom is much more complex to use.
