I have mounted on a small copy of Jazz bass 75 whose violin is very nice and with these pickups sound great and I have very definite! The sound palette is quite broad ... Big sound full of infra-bass, sound very clear with lots of treble. I love the sound reproduction, they have a large volume of output, a well-defined and are very versatile.
