I use this game for over a year.
If I decide to file a notice is that for the second time I am absolutely amazed by the sound quality of this set of strings.
My comment could also be summed up: "Do not change the guitar but a different brand of strings."
First experience
I have a 5 string acoustic bass Ibanez AEB 305 stamped USED bought not very expensive in the United States 3 years ago. After solving a problem of poor contact of the pre amp, less radical action and have repositioned the sensor piezo I had a guitar almost fit. I then started looking for the strings that are best suited to the instrument. Everything went Daddario Dean Markley PhosBronze, etc ... in desperation, and after reading an article I ended up ordering a set of DR. This was a revelation, it was not the same instrument ... his deep round well defined warm natural compression + light ... I could hardly believe that a set of strings can also affect high on the rendering of an instrument.
2nd experiment
I acquired a bass September 07 Tacoma 5 string Thundechief with Fishman Prefix Plus preamp. The reputation of this bass is not overdone, not plugged in it sounds so amazing. I was expecting to have his equally extraordinary once amplified instrument. Big disappointment! it was worse than the Ibanez! The problem is now solved ... I replaced the game Daddario original game by RARE Acoustic Bass RPB5 DR-45 (45 65 85 105 125) ... an amazing quality for a reasonable price (set ordered U.S. Ebay) and a very great pleasure of play
