Trs short notice for this microphone that is worth it ... I start:

hmi-cardioid condenser microphone pressure zone, tudi to the bass drum. for wider use as a piano, choirs, etc ... there is the E912, I have not tried.

I put eight, because no trs versatile, even if ultimately very practical for other sources (pos on the table for the speech, for example), it's not the most forcment nice sound what comes out ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years.
the sound is much better than a Shure 91, rounder, less mtallique. it is also less fragile because it does not like it small cable with taking very fragile, not adapted to live trs. Here, we go take directly into the body.
srieuse manufacturing and robust, it sennheiser.
the sound now!
placement is the indoor of the GC (must still pierces it is ...) I dsaxe to the cot of the snare, and looking at the bat, it was as the most attacking, rejecting a max snare (it is Submitted to a 901 in a 52). if you want less of attack, it can look to the skin of rsonance is assayable. I put the collection's outdoor sometimes when I do not want to attack, but more often I prfrerai another microphone.
if the GC is not pierced, it's a bit dead for this microphone. we must find another solution.
it gives me a slap every time. With a proper prampli derrire good converter and one (type rm) the GC hits hard! For my part, I reduced a little the body of the GC (to 200/250Hz) which tends to be heard well. The rest is in default of the bass drum. dosage attack / rsonance is easy. to live, has more than enough. perfect for rock, mtal, etc ...
in the studio, I added a SUBKICK, the bass is prettier, even better. this couple walking trs well.
since I dropped the 52 ...

qualitprix the report is correct, it costs more or less the same thing as a 91 but the sound is better.

if I made the E901 me: I would try out the 912 to see if it is more versatile without sacrificing quality at the GC. if not, I Rasht even a budget without too hsiter E901. have to see what the competition but I know the 901 wins in the CATEGORY of static GC.

I put 9, nothing is perfect (in the prsence 200Hz, placement trsdlicat see not possible at all if the GC is not pierced)
