I use the Canare GS6 in "short run" on my pedalboard for ten years I think. I passed the meantime by the solution solderless George L's, I did not like to use (reliability problems, loss of frequencies, sound interruptions), then the cable The Monoral of Evidence Audio (excellent cable but expensive and difficult to assemble because of its strong central copper wire). Canare GS-6 is the best compromise between quality and price I found for those who are like me and constantly redo their custom patches.
Attention, it can not work miracles: in a long chain of effects without buffer, there will be losses in the audible frequencies.
