Pentode Audio debuts on 123creative.com a new vintage compression plug-in in VST 32-bit format for Windows and called VTC-1.
The Pentode Audio VTC-1 is based on the modeling of an analog tube compressor. This model has the particularity of not featuring any threshold control, you will have to use the input level knob to control the compression amount, just as on old hardware compressors.
Regarding the Compression Amount knob, Pentode Audio explains that it works like the ratio control on modern compressors. Attack and Release knobs are standard.
The VTC-1 features a switch for two distinct compression curves and a Drive control will boost the input signal of the tubes.
The Pentode Audio VTC-1 is available for the introductory price of 17.17€ instead of 22.90 and you can download a demo version from www.123creative.com.
