The Rmpx4 plug-in is designed for modulation fans. It is based around three main effects (multimode filter, pitch shifter and delay), that allow for generating evolutive variations by crossfading between two instances of each effect and modulating their main parameters.
4 LFOs that can be tempo-synced are also available, as well as two envelope followers which output can be reversed or combined via multipliers and mixers. A Randomization feature and a Panic Button are also on the menu.
The Rmpx4 ships with 111 presets and you can exchange your own presets between plug-in formats and platforms.
Last, MIDI controller users benefit from a MIDI Learn system, and can also trigger presets via the MIDI Program Changes.
The Rmpx4 plug-in is available in VST and AU 32 and 64-bit formats on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux. It is free on the latter and has an introductory price of 10€ instead of 20€ for Mac and PC. A trial version can also be downloaded from www.ineardisplay.com.
