Howie Weinberg, the mastering engineer with multiple gold and platinum records, launched on the AppStore a mastering app.
According to its creator, the Howie Weinberg Mastering app was created to make mastering on the iOS easier with only a few steps, a language that musicians understand, and offers the ability to share the result via DropBox of the iTunes library or on SoundCloud.
In practice, the app is an advanced EQ, with a choice of four equalizers and EQ curve presets used on successful records.
You can also choose a specific music style to get you started and a “Howie Help” button will take you to the engineer’s advice.
The Howie Weinberg Mastering app is available on the AppStore for $2.99.
