Indeed, the chute (which receives the conductor cable or hot) is very convenient to insert the braided cable, but can become a liability in the case of welding cable with a significant number of strands.
Great card for your instrument jacks. I prefer Amphenol connectors for speaker cable high section (Sommer Tribune, for example).
Reliability brooks no criticism, it is a beautiful piece.
