ZE recipe you want to make a good guitar cable, get:
- Good cable (I'm the Canare)
- Neutrik jack NP2C ct amp (or pedal-board)
- A Neutrik Silent Jack NP2C ct guitar.
More noise when the cable is unplug more noise when I change the guitar.
A must!

PS: I never had any problem soldering these jacks.
