The new versions come as dedicated plug-ins without the need for the proprietary cross-platform MIDI and audio host software Vienna Ensemble PRO 5.
With the latest free update, both Vienna MIR PRO and Vienna MIR PRO 24 come as universal plug-ins in the formats AU, VST, RTAS, and AAX, allowing users to run them directly in their DAW, without the need for additional software. Users may place their Vienna Instruments, 3rd party AU/VST instruments and any audio signal on the virtual stages of Vienna MIR PRO / MIR PRO 24 and benefit from the ambience of venues such as the Vienna Konzerthaus or the soundstage of the Teldex Studio in Berlin. 11,000 impulse responses are included – and additional acoustic spaces are available with two optional RoomPacks.
Registered users may download the update at the company’s User Area free of charge.
