Sabian Pro Crash 16"
Published on 08/24/03 at 15:00I bought this cymbal from a friend along with loads more for 150 quid. Ive seen it in the shops for about 90.
I like the sound...nice, high pitched, cutting and giving fairly decent volume. The cymbal plays well, and has lasted for the 2 months i have owned it and thats after a beating...and yes i do mean a beating.
Great Price for its sound.
Bright. Great for elongated accents.
the main problems with this cymbal are as follows:
-Its hard work. To get a decent bright sound out of it you really need to pump it out.
-Its quite fast, which can be good but when your wanting nice, long, warm drives from it it can be quite difficult to get the right sound.
The quality is reasonable. ...…

The quality is reasonable. If you want exellent quality, go for Zildjians (Cast Bronze that is), but the Pro series Sabians Do tend to last well and will deliver in a gig, although anything before that such as B8s and B8 pros are much too quiet. Fairly reliable.
Overall, this is a good product.
For Quality, go for Zildjian Cast Bronze
For Cutting, Bright Sounds go for Sabian AA, or Paiste.
For Huge, power cymbals go for Sabian AAX and Zildjian Z custom and A custom.
Hope this helps! Thanks for reading!

Very good cymbal for its quality and purity.
The pitch of the note my somewhat disturbed at the beginning and it's true that it is not Exess music.
The power of sound is good: it projects the sound in space without either making a racket.

I have a year and a half is a very sturdy cymbal, and do not hesitate to return to sound dedant! The tone is high, the resonance well controlled, the harmonics can be monitored without.
In short, there are no half measures, you type in and eventually it sounds not too bad, but honestly I had trouble at first, I thought she was too explosive, but do not be afraid type ...
Excellent for beginners, the price is a bit too expensive, but you can keep it long!
